Terms of Service

  • Hyrejet helps you tailor applications. We don’t guarantee that you’ll get an interview or a job.
  • AI-generated content may contain errors. Always review what we generate before submitting it to an employer.
  • Paid plans auto-renew. Cancel anytime; first-time paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • You own everything you upload and everything we generate for you. We don’t use any of it to train AI.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hyrejet, an AI-powered job application assistant available at hyrejet.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Cristian Selar, a sole proprietor based in Greece (“Hyrejet”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at hyrejet@gmail.com.

2. The Service

Hyrejet:

  • Parses your uploaded resume into a structured career profile
  • Lets you submit job descriptions and generates tailored resumes, cover letters, screening answers, and follow-up emails
  • Tracks the status of your applications
  • Computes match-rate analyses between your profile and a job

The Service does NOT:

  • Apply to jobs on your behalf
  • Guarantee any employment, interview, offer, or recruiter response
  • Make decisions about your suitability for any role — that is always the employer’s decision

3. Eligibility and your account

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity on your account

You are limited to one account per person. We may suspend or terminate duplicate accounts. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason permitted by law.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal

Hyrejet offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Weekly, Monthly, Annual). Current prices are displayed at hyrejet.com/#pricing.

Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or annually) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least one (1) day before the renewal date. You can cancel from Settings → Manage Billing.

Pricing changes. We may change pricing at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle, and we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance of any increase.

Failed payment. If we cannot collect a payment, we will retry over the next 7 days. Continued failure will downgrade your subscription to the free tier.

Taxes. Prices displayed are exclusive of VAT, GST, and any other applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required by law. As a Greek-based business, we apply VAT in accordance with Greek and EU tax rules.

5. Refund policy and EU consumer rights

14-day money-back guarantee. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your initial purchase, email hyrejet@gmail.com and we will refund your subscription fee in full.

Renewals (after the first paid period) are non-refundable. Cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.

EU consumers — statutory right of withdrawal. As an EU consumer, you have the right under Directive 2011/83/EU to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase. By starting to use the Service immediately after purchase (for example, by generating your first tailored application), you expressly request that we begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal right will be lost once the Service has been fully performed. The 14-day money-back guarantee above is offered separately as a goodwill policy and does not limit your statutory rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:

  • Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or violates any third party’s rights
  • Upload a resume or profile that is not your own personal career history
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or experience to employers
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our source code, AI prompts, or models
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or impersonate others
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service beyond what is permitted via the normal user interface
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, the free-tier application cap, or any other technical restriction
  • Use the Service to apply to jobs en masse in a way that violates the terms of a destination ATS or job board
  • Use the Service for any purpose that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

7. AI output — your responsibility

This section matters — please read it carefully. The Service uses AI to generate tailored resumes, cover letters, screening answers, and follow-up emails based on your career profile and the job descriptions you submit.

  • AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or content that misrepresents your experience.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any AI-generated content before submitting it to an employer, recruiter, ATS, or any third party.
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
  • You agree that we are not liable for the consequences of submitting AI-generated content, including job rejections, withdrawn offers, reputational damage, or any related harm.

If our AI fabricates any detail (for example, invents a job title or skill you did not provide), do not submit it. Report it to us at hyrejet@gmail.com.

The Service is a tool that assists you. The final decision about what to submit to a prospective employer is always yours.

8. Your content and the licence you grant us

You retain full ownership of:

  • All content you upload (resumes, profile data, job descriptions, files)
  • All AI-generated outputs we deliver to you (tailored resumes, cover letters, screening answers, follow-up emails)

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. This licence is automatically revoked when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use Your Content to train any AI model and do not share it with third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy (e.g. when our sub-processors transit it on our behalf to deliver the Service to you).

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, copy, branding, the underlying AI prompts, and the engineering — is owned by Cristian Selar and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for the purposes described in these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse- engineer, or create derivative works of the Service.

10. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (infrastructure), Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Anthropic (AI), Mixpanel (analytics), and Microsoft Clarity (session recording). Your use of those services through Hyrejet is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

EU consumers: nothing in this section excludes the statutory rights you have under Greek consumer law or Directive 2011/83/EU.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 50.

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM.

EU consumers: nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cristian Selar from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third party’s rights
  • Content you submit through the Service
  • Your submission of AI-generated content to any third party

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or use the Service in a manner that puts us or other users at risk.

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17) will survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent in-app notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before they take effect.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Athens, Greece.

EU consumers: nothing in this section deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or of the protections afforded to you under the consumer-protection law of that country.

EU online dispute resolution: you may also access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform for out-of-court resolution.

17. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.
